Herman Cain Wins South Carolina 2012 GOP Debate

Brian Montopoli - To get an idea of the strangeness of the first debate of the 2012 presidential cycle - the unofficial kickoff to the 2012 GOP race - consider this: Based on the Fox News focus group conducted immediately following the event, Herman Cain is about to run away with the GOP nomination.
If you're wondering who that is, you're not alone: The former Godfather's Pizza CEO, who barely registers in national polls, has never held elected office. And he is seen as having virtually no chance to win the GOP nomination.
But the vast majority of the people sitting in with Republican pollster Frank Luntz said Cain had won the debate with his directness and straightforward delivery. (This despite the fact that when asked about what he would do in Afghanistan, he replied that he would rely on "the experts and their advice and their input." The Fox News debate moderators seemed incredulous that he did not offer a position.) Luntz appeared blown away by the response to Cain, which he cast as unprecedented. "Something very special happened this evening," he said.
Perhaps. But the debate was seen as such a non-event inside the beltway that House Speaker John Boehner spent his evening not watching it, opting instead to have a few drinks at a Washington steakhouse. "I'll read about it tomorrow," he told Hotsheet.
The absence of the biggest-name potential candidates - Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, even Donald Trump - meant the event it generated little attention despite its status as the first debate of the cycle. Among the five men onstage - Cain, former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, Texas Rep. Ron Paul, former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum - only Pawlenty is seen by Washington insiders as having a legitimate shot at the GOP nomination.

Pawlenty's goal was to look presidential - despite his relatively unheralded company - and he largely pulled it off. The toughest moment for the former governor was when he was asked to defend his past support for a cap-and-trade energy policy, which got a smattering of boos. Pawlenty explained himself in part by saying, literally, "nobody's perfect."
In perhaps his most interesting response of the night, he notably declined to take a shot at likely rival Mitt Romney over Romney's Massachusetts health care law.
"Governor Romney's not here to defend himself so I'm not going to pick on him or the position he took in Massachusetts," Pawlenty said. The intraparty sparring, it appears, will have to wait.
Pawlenty did find a way to go after President Obama on foreign policy -- despite the boost Mr. Obama got from the killing of Osama bin Laden. He said that while the president "did a good job and I tip my cap to him in that moment," the raid on bin Laden is "not the sum total" of Mr. Obama's foreign policy record. In other areas, Pawlenty insisted, the president has been "weak."
"The issues that have come up while he's been president, he's gotten them wrong strategically every single time," Pawlenty said. At one point, he referred to the United Nations as "pathetic."
Santorum, who was relatively combative much of the evening, complained that Mr. Obama "sided with the mullahs" during the protests in Iran.
"If you look at what President Obama has done right in foreign policy, it has always been a continuation of the Bush policies," said Santorum, who said Mr. Obama has "gotten it wrong" every other time.
The 90-minute debate took place at the Peace Center in Greenville, South Carolina, a key early voting state. The candidates were not asked to engage with one another, limiting the fireworks.

The first applause of the evening came for Paul, who said the killing of bin Laden was a good opportunity to end the war in Afghanistan. Johnson, a fellow Libertarian, echoed that sentiment, saying the troops should come home "tomorrow."
Asked if they would support waterboarding terror suspects under certain circumstances - an issue rekindled by the killing of bin Laden, Paul, Pawlenty and Santorum raised their hands. Paul and Johnson did not. Both Paul and Johnson also discussed their support for barring the federal government from making drugs illegal. (Moderators pressed Paul on heroin specifically.) Paul drew another distinction with most of the men onstage when he said all foreign aid to the Middle East should be cut and that America should not be running secret CIA prisons.
Johnson, who supports abortion rights, became frustrated with debate moderators at one point, complaining he was not being asked enough questions. He also received the most frivolous question of the night, asked what his reality show would be about if he were offered one.
Santorum was pressed all night on being an extremist - he denied being "anti-Islam" or too socially conservative to win a general election - and pointed to his past electoral successes to cast himself as electable when debate moderators asked if Mr. Obama is unbeatable. (Unsurprisingly, he left out the 18 percentage point drubbing he took in losing his Senate seat in 2006.)
The also-ran nature of the debate was reflected in the fact that moderators asked a cluster of questions focused on the potential candidates who were not present. Paul was asked if Rep. Michele Bachmann had taken his mantle of Tea Party leader; Pawlenty was asked his thoughts on Huckabee. ("I love the Huck," he replied, awkwardly.)
The economy is the most important issue for a plurality of Americans, and the candidates certainly seized on it. Pawlenty, for one, called the National Labor Relations Board's bid to keep Boeing from building Dreamliner 787s at a nonunion plant in South Carolina "preposterous."
It was a good issue for Pawlenty (and Cain, too, who also cited it), because it allowed them to rail against big government, cast themselves as job creators, and spotlight an issue important to South Carolina voters. That's an opportunity they weren't going to pass up. (Indeed, Pawlenty focused on the same issue in a CBS News interview before the debate.)
Polls show a wide-open Republican race led by Romney, Huckabee and Trump, and Thursday night's likely-little-watched festivities were unlikely to move the numbers all that much. For the unknown candidates it was a chance to make a splash - and from that perspective, Cain certainly seems to have acquitted himself nicely. But with most eyes focused elsewhere, Thursday night is likely to be remembered -- if it's remembered at all -- as a footnote in the march to the nomination.

Approval Rating Of Congress At 9%

Rassmussen Reports - As members of Congress and the president haggle over ways to reduce the federal budget deficit, ratings for the bicameral legislature have fallen to the lowest level since late 2008.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Voters shows that nine percent (9%) now say Congress is doing a good or excellent job. Fifty-six percent (56%) rate the Congressional performance as poor. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Positive grades for the legislators are down from 13% last month and are the lowest measured since December 2008. The number of voters who give Congress a poor grade is up seven points from last month and is the highest negative review since Republicans took control of the House in January.
From January 2007 through December 2010, with Democrats in control of both the House and Senate, the legislature earned good or excellent marks ranging from 9% to 26%.  The high water mark was reached in May 2007. Poor marks for the Democratic tenure ranged from a low of 35% to a high of 71%. That 71% negative rating was reached just before the health care bill became law.
In the four months since Republicans took control of the House, positive ratings for Congress have ranged from nine percent (9%) to 15%, while poor marks have run from 42% to 56%. Democrats continue to control the Senate.
Only 11% of Republican voters believe Congress is doing a good or excellent job, as do 11% of Democrats. Just six percent (6%) of voters not affiliated with either major party give Congress positive marks.
(Want a free daily e-mail update? If it's in the news, it's in our polls).  Rasmussen Reports updates are also available on Twitter or Facebook.
The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on April 19-20, 2011 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.
Just 17% believe Congress has passed legislation in the past year that will significantly improve life in America, down from 21% last month and the lowest finding since February 2010. Sixty-one percent (61%) say Congress has not passed such legislation, while 21% more are not sure.
But voters are a bit more divided on the goals of Congress. While 47% say the more important role for Congress is passing good legislation, 43% say top priority should be preventing bad legislation from becoming law. That’s the smallest gap since Rasmussen Reports first posed the question in August of last year.
Republicans continue hold a modest lead over Democrats on the Generic Congressional Ballot.
In the ongoing budget-cutting debate in Washington, some congressional Democrats have accused their Republican opponents of being held captive by the Tea Party movement, but voters like the Tea Party more than Congress.
Voters continue to view the Republican agenda in Congress as more mainstream than the agenda of the Democrats. But only one-in-four voters think the average member of either party shares the same ideology they do
Most voters feel the president and Republicans in Congress are unlikely to agree on major spending cuts before next year’s elections. They also aren't confident either side will come up with a serious plan to begin with.

Conservatives Bloggers Accuse Glen Beck Of Stealing Material

Site And Blogs - Several conservative bloggers are accusing Glenn Beck of stealing their content without giving credit. Worse, there is evidence that Beck takes steps to hide the true source before using content on his show.

The Daily Caller has unleashed a string of examples of Beck pretending that someone else's ideas or content was his own. Even conservative publisher Andrew Breitbart, a regular guest on Beck's television and radio show, accuses Beck of content theft. Breitbart says that Beck occasionally properly credits a source, but “sometimes he also uses other peoples’ work without crediting them, making it appear as though it were his own. But especially since adopting ‘The Truth Has No Agenda’ slogan – and trying to deliberately re-position himself as the pious conscience and judge of many of those he took content from – he has exposed himself to his new motto’s unforgiving standard.”

For example, in March, Beck showed a video of liberal protesters calling for amnesty for illegal immigrants. No external credit was given for the video, leading the viewer to believe that Beck's own staff obtained and owned the video clip. This was not the case. The video was actually created by an anonymous blogger called Rebel Pundit.

Beck not only failed to give Rebel Pundit his deserved credit and valuable publicity, Beck went so far as to edit the video to hide a watermark for the RebelPundit.com website. Rebel Pundit expressed his disappointment to the Daily Caller:

“I put my website name on there for a reason – to bring people from the movement to my website so they can see the other stuff that I’ve done,” the man behind Rebel Pundit told TheDC. “You’ve got pretty much the biggest guy in the movement take your stuff and actually have his editors spend the time to scrub my name off of it.”

Even Beck's trademark chalkboard is not always his own work. A conservative blogger known as Liberty Chick presents compelling evidence that Beck stole the following chart outlining George Soros' media reach that she created and posted on her Bigjournalism.com website:

It appears that Beck actually printed out Liberty Chick's chart, cut out the logos and stuck them on his chalkboard. Unfortunately, he did not take the time to give Liberty Chick any credit for her work.

The article's many examples of copyright violations and plagiarism raise significant legal and ethical issues. When a smaller blogger does dilligent work that is worthy of being published to Beck's large audience, that blogger deserves the credit and bump in website traffic that comes with having his or her name mentioned by Beck. If Beck has actually gone out of his way to erase evidence of the proper source of the work, he deserves all of the ire from conservative bloggers that he is presently facing.

Beck's representatives disagree. They say that too much is being made of these examples:

Beck’s office responds to complaints like these by pointing out that Beck is a busy man who broadcasts in one form or another for nearly 1,000 hours a year. “Anyone could find examples of stories they think should have been sourced differently,” Beck’s representatives told TheDC. “In addition, many stories mentioned have multiple sources. Glenn’s shows have a high-standard and a long history of championing bloggers and attributing sources whenever possible including frequently providing extensive footnotes on GlennBeck.com. For example, The Blaze has already linked to The Daily Caller over 40 times, and the shows have cited a wide-range of bloggers, websites and reports over and over again.”

Gallup Predicts A Republican Party Rout In The Midterms Based On Obama's Popularity Rating

Tyler Gurden - Gallup presents some troubling statistics for the democrats as we approach mid-term elections (a mere three months away). In a nutshell, the party of a president who has a sub-50% rating into midterms, has lost, on average, 36 seats since 1946. Alternatively, presidents with a popularity rating over 50%, lose just 14. As Gallup says: “The clear implication is that the Democrats are vulnerable to losing a significant number of House seats this fall with Barack Obama’s approval rating averaging 45% during the last two full weeks of Gallup Daily tracking. The Republicans would need to gain 40 House seats to retake majority control.”

Of course, the administration (and its dwindling members) is well-aware of this fact, which is why the next three months will likely see a record amount of pandering, populism and outright manipulation of everything that can be manipulated: that includes mortgages rates, and of course, stocks. Which leads us to observe the calendar of FOMC meetings until November: there are two - tomorrow and September 21. However, for a Fed loosening decision to have a material impact, the September meeting is likely cutting it too close to the election date, as the market will likely not have enough time to digest a favorable outcome, or in turn will be into its reactionary phase by the time November rolls around. Furthermore, the traditionally busy post-Labor day docket will likely mean events on the economic front already have to be in motion by then. Lastly, the fact that the Fed will have just a bare minimum quorum of just four directors through September 10 (at a minimum), means that any decision in the 11 days between then and the 21st will likely be far more problematic than one which has to be taken tomorrow. Which is why from a purely political calendar point of view, tomorrow’s Fed meeting is likely seen by the administration as a make or break. The tenuous 40 seat lead which will likely disappear should the current economic trajectory not change, is certainly on the radar for both Obama, and the very independent Federal Reserve.

More observations from Gallup:

On a historical basis, the Democrats under Jimmy Carter suffered the slimmest seat loss of a party whose president was below 50% approval, losing 11 seats in the 1978 midterms. More recently, Bill Clinton in 1994 and George W. Bush in 2006 saw their parties lose enough seats in the House to turn party control over to the opposition party when they had less than majority approval.

The president’s party nearly always loses seats in midterm elections, regardless of how well the president is rated by the public. Since World War II, only Clinton in 1998 and Bush in 2002 saw their parties gain seats in a midterm. Both men had approval ratings above 60% at the time of those elections. However, the parties of the other three presidents with ratings above 60% (Eisenhower in 1954, Kennedy in 1962, and Reagan in 1986) lost seats.

In general, though, the more popular a president is, the fewer seats his party loses, as presidents with approval ratings above 60% have averaged just a three-seat loss.

The Coming Obama Dictatorship

I commented on how pleased I’ve been to see Glenn Beck talking about a subject I’ve been writing about: a government-declared state of emergency leading to a “temporary” dictatorship.

Will Obama purposely foment “civil unrest” rather than wait for something like unemployment or runaway inflation to make it happen?

I have long believed that the mathematics of an insatiable entitlement society in the U.S. guarantees a runaway inflation, which likely would be followed by anarchy and chaos – a perfect excuse for government to resort to strong-armed totalitarian measures to “restore order.” My model has always been Germany’s Weimar Republic in the 1920s, where runaway inflation brought Adolf Hitler to power.

I originally believed that the runaway-inflation scenario in the U.S. would play out in the early 1980s, but a combination of Ronald Reagan and an explosion in computers and electronic technology made possible by the remnants of our capitalist system headed it off.

Nevertheless, the threat of a runaway inflation has continued to increase over the years, even while our false-prosperity economy was booming. That’s because the underlying causes (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, insane union and government-employee wages and benefits, Social Security, Medicare, etc.) of our sick economy have never been addressed.

Unemployment is just a symptom; the disease is entitlements. Throughout the false-prosperity years, Social Security did not go away. It got bigger. Medicare did not go away. It got bigger. Virtually no other benefits went away. They only got bigger. So the underlying problem of entitlements not only has remained, but continued to grow.

The big news now is that Social Security may “go broke” this year instead of in 2017, which was originally projected. Really? And here I thought it’s been broke for decades. Ditto with Medicare. These programs were long ago Madoffized. Almost from the start, government has simply taken in new money from “investors” (read, taxpayers) and handed it over to those on the entitlements side of the fence – with a large chunk of the largesse being skimmed off the top for government employees who administer these programs (and vote for those whom they believe are most likely to safeguard their jobs).

All it took to bring things to a head was a shameful spending spree by a progressive Republican president and a Republican Congress, followed by the ascent of a committed Marxist to the presidency (along with a cooperative majority in Congress).

Now, throw on top of all that a huge new tax-and-spending bill (euphemistically referred to as “health-care legislation”), and the end result seems assured. However, with the government’s power to tax, print, and borrow, no one knows how long it will be before the inevitable runaway inflation sets in.

But if BHO truly has his mind set on establishing a dictatorship – and it is my personal belief that he does – it’s too risky for him to wait for a runaway inflation as an excuse to call a state of emergency. He knows that as long as there is a semblance of a free market in place, producers will continue to push back against the economy-killing effects of his policies.

Thus, he needs another excuse to declare a state of emergency, and over the past year I’ve given a lot of thought to what that excuse might be. In previous articles, I’ve mentioned a nuke exchange between Iran and Israel as one possibility. Another is civil unrest due to unemployment rates that could reach 25 percent or more in the not-too-distant future.

These and others still remain possibilities, but last week Glenn Beck came up with one that may be even more likely. Beck believes that Obama will continue to keep the accelerator pressed to the floor – amnesty for illegal immigrants, a cap-and-trade bill that will eliminate the U.S. as a global business competitor, and more – thus enraging an already angry public to the point of revolution.

In other words, purposely foment “civil unrest” rather than wait for something like unemployment or runaway inflation to make it happen. As Beck puts it, just continue to poke people in the eye, then use their predictable and justifiable backlash as an excuse to establish dictatorial powers.

I thought about this issue while attending the recent tea party outside the Capitol Building in Washington. As I crossed Independence Avenue, I noted a somber-looking guard holding a Rambo-style weapon in his hands. I have no idea what it was, but there’s no question in my mind that just one pull of the trigger could have rearranged the body parts of a large number of tea-party people.

The totally peaceful gathering – repeat, totally peaceful – was infested with heavily armed police, but one, in particular, was especially ominous. As the tea partiers chanted “Kill the Bill” on the east side of the Capitol Building, a uniformed, lone figure stood at the top of the steep flight of stairs on the House side of the structure, automatic weapon at the ready, gazing down over the crowd. Sun glasses and all, he reminded me of the “boss man” of Cool Hand Luke’s chain gang.

It gave me the eerie feeling that I was in a banana republic. Had anyone dared to take things beyond mere chanting, there’s no doubt in my mind that it would have become a scene right out of Caracas. All that was missing was Sean Penn.

Yep, I believe Glenn Beck might be on to something. But if the American public refuses to take the bait and doesn’t resort to violence, BHO will have to go to Plan B to have an excuse to declare a state of emergency.

Having said all this, don’t despair. No one, including myself, can predict the future with certainty. In a rapidly changing world, nothing is certain. Which is why I don’t make predictions; I just lay odds. And here’s my odds based on what I know and see today:

• The chances of a declared state of emergency and ensuing dictatorship prior to the 2010 elections: 25%
• The chances of a declared state of emergency and ensuing dictatorship prior to the 2012 elections: 50%
• The chances of the U.S. dollar becoming worthless within three years: 25%
• The chances of the U.S. dollar becoming worthless within ten years: 90%
• The chances of the Republicans cutting back on major entitlements if they regain power in the 2010 elections: Zero
• The chances of the Republicans cutting back on major entitlements if they win the presidency and an overwhelming majority in Congress in 2012: 5%
• The chances of the so-called tea-party people (i.e., everyday Americans who believe in liberty) winning out over the long haul: Hmm … let me procrastinate on that one a bit before I lay odds.

Of course, I could be wrong about all this … but what if I’m right?

Obama Says Conservative Talk Radio Is Enemy No.1

After shooting hoops for the cameras, Harry Smith of CBS asked Obama his thoughts on talk radio. Smith said a lot of people consider him a “socialist” and even a “Nazi” and asked the president if he is aware of this.

“Well, I think that when you listen to Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck, it’s pretty apparent, and it’s troublesome, but keep in mind that there have been periods in American history where this kind of vitriol comes out,” Obama responded. “It happens often when you’ve got an economy that is making people more anxious, and people are feeling like there is a lot of change that needs to take place. But that’s not the vast majority of Americans. I think the vast majority of Americans know that we’re trying hard, that I want what’s best for the country.”

According to CBS, Obama said “both Democrats and Republicans have a responsibility to tone down the rhetoric, but that much of it has to do with the current media environment in which extreme comments are echoed in the blogosphere.”

In other words, the problem is not so much establishment talk radio hosts like Limbaugh and Beck but the internet and alternative media. Obama wants the “blogosphere” (corporate media shorthand for alternative media) to “tone down the rhetoric,” that is to say follow the rules on discourse established by the government. Americans have a “responsibility” to be polite and wait for the corporate media to get around to interviewing them for fifteen second sound bites. Critics of a predatory and ever-expanding federal government are expected to sit on their thumbs and wait for hell to freeze over.

It is an understatement to say “you’ve got an economy that is making people more anxious.” In fact, the hijacked and looted economy is making them increasingly angry and moving them toward political action.

Large and growing numbers of Americans understand that Obama and Congress do not have their best interests in mind. The Obama administration is filled to the brim with insiders and bankster operatives like Larry Summers and Timothy Geithner. Obama’s economic team is headed up by a former Federal Reserve mob boss, Paul Volcker, who has said the American people need to do with less. Obama’s State Department is staffed with Trilateralists and CFR members who believe in and work for world government.

Watch CBS News Videos Online
During the election Obama insisted he is a man of the people. His “change” mantra fooled millions. Obama said he would get rid of the corporate lobbyists but on the day after the election (only hand-picked contenders like Obama and John McCain were allowed to participate) he gathered together K Street insiders behind closed doors for a question and answer session (translation: corporations gave Obama his marching orders).

Obama said he would bring home the troops and put an end to torture. He said he would close Gitmo. Instead he expanded the number of troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. He invaded Pakistan and killed countless civilians. He ordered a “surge” (in the killing of civilians) in Afghanistan. Obama promised to put an end to the practice of issuing executive orders but continued the practice of ignoring the will of Congress. In fact, he signed one the day after taking office. He left untouched illegal and unconstitutional government surveillance of the people. Obama and Congress left the Patriot Act in place. Obama continued the Bush legacy (as Bush continued the legacy of his predecessors). He added to this noxious legacy by cranking up the national debt (owned to bankers) to a historically unsustainable and stratospheric level. He marshaled a “health care” bill that will intrude at gunpoint on the privacy and medical decisions of every single American.

But we are not expected to get angry about any of this. We are expected to sit down and shut up. Obama wants us to “tone down the rhetoric.” Instead of taking to the streets and protesting against tyranny, we are expected to attend government orchestrated town hall meetings where questions for bureaucrats are submitted in advance and vetted by officialdom.

Obama’s hoop shooting propaganda stunt with corporate media crown jewel CBS will not convince those of us angry about authoritarian government shredding the Constitution and trampling the Bill of Rights and expanding government power at every turn to sit down and shut up.

The outrage will continue. Both Democrats and Republicans will feel the wrath come the midterm elections — that is if there will be elections in November. Never underestimate the will of tyrants and their minions and executioners to frustrate the will of the people.

Finally, Obama is not a Nazi or a Socialist. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out what he really is — a cigar store Indian for the ruling elite and the bankers. Obama is a front man who does the bidding for our globalist rulers. He is the public relations spokesman for international banks and transnational corporations. Obama’s job is to shoot hoops and look confident and come off as if he is in control while the real controllers pull the strings from behind the curtain.

Krugman Admits Death Panels In Obamacare

Now that Obamacare is law of the land, Dems and their supporters admit what we knew all along.
Amusing how the rest of the people at the table were nervously giggling at the prospect of death panels in anticipation of a resounding confirmation that there are not going to be death panels or anything remotely resembling death panels only to hear this man confirm that there will be death panels and they will certainly save money.

Those giggling idiots have already forgotten how shocked they were for that brief moment of transition from nervous expectation to dumbfounded silence. All in a moment it was all forgotten.

They get paid well to forget so quickly what they held dear in the prior moment.

MSNBC's ED Schultz Demands The Fairness Doctrine

Ed Schultz, one of the more bombastic “liberals” at MSNBC, has called for “rightwing” talk radio to be shut down.

Schultz is outraged that Rush Limbaugh has called for opposition to Obama and the Democrat theft of one sixth of the economy. Ed thinks it would be ducks if the IRS and government thugs toting brand spanking new sniper rifles rounded people up for their refusal to follow Obama’s mandate that everybody in the country must give their hard-earned money to insurance companies.

Because Rush and the Republicans have not paid fealty to Lord Obama and the corporate whore Democrats who have trashed the Constitution, Ed wants to bring back the Fairness Doctrine. He would like to see Rush Limbaugh forced off the air. Ed dreams of his paltry radio show replacing Rush’s on the airwaves.

Ed reveals what a reprehensible collectivist he is. He is outraged that the Republicans stand in opposition to the monstrosity that is Obamacare. Like a garden variety Stalinist, Schultz believes it is treason to oppose the dictates of the communist party, actually the bankster party. Everybody must support the Leader or face persecution by the state.

Such attitudes ultimately result in almost unimaginable mass murder. Mao killed 40 million, Hitler 30 million, and Stalin around 20 million. Some historians put these numbers even higher. Mao and Stalin killed most their victims because they dared resist the state. Hitler did too, but a lot of his victims were attributed to racist beliefs inspired by eugenicists like Rockefeller.

Hitler, Mao, and Stalin — these were collectivists who believed in the primacy of the state over the individual. Ed Schultz also believes in the primacy of the state and wants to shut down anybody who opposes its criminal mandates. Such mentality eventually terminates in killing fields.

Ed says there is a culture war going on in America. Mao had his own cultural war. He called it the Cultural Revolution. It began when Mao and his lackey Jiang Qing went after the intellectuals. Mao sent his Red Guards around China to intimidate, imprison, beat, and kill those who did not live up to his communist utopian vision. A campaign of fingering traitors swept the country. Between 30 and 70 million people were killed.

If you think Ed is merely a blowhard, think again. As I write this, the Democrats — in league with America’s political police, the FBI and Homeland Security — are preparing to move against the Tea Party movement and all patriots who cherish the Constitution.
Ed Schultz and his fellow apparatchiks in the corporate media are sharpening their knives.

Dems Say That Tea Party Supporters Are Terrorist

The zombified Tea Party created by establishment Republicans and headed up by media darling Sarah Palin is taking heat for a spate of bad behavior around the country in response to the imposition of Obamacare. It is not clear who is responsible for the foul language and threats directed against Democrats but this has not stopped them from blaming their ideological twin, the Republican Party. Dems are demanding the Republicans denounce their creation — the hijacked and transmogrified Tea Party sworn to uphold the Republican platform of big government and endless war against phantom enemies.

It’s not just Democrats who get to play victim. Earlier today House Minority Whip Rep. Eric Cantor of Virginia held a press conference and said somebody fired a bullet at his campaign office on Monday. Cantor admonished Rep. Chris Van Hollen and DNC chairman Tim Kaine for fanning the flames of hysteria and attempting to gain politically from the media circus swirling around the isolated incidents of outrage over the “socialization” (more accurately the corporate monopolization at gunpoint) of health care.

House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn went on MSNBC’s “Hardball” this afternoon and characterized the obscene phones calls and emails as domestic terrorism. Clyburn said people are getting “signals” from Republicans on how to behave and that lawmakers need to “disown” the activity before it gets out of control. He suggested his colleagues were culpable. “If we participate in it, either from the balcony or on the floor of the House, you are aiding and abetting this kind of terrorism, really,” Clyburn said.

“I think it’s part of a pattern,” said Rules Committee Chairwoman Louise Slaughter after an act of vandalism at her office in New York. Slaughter, at the command of Nancy Pelosi, was ready to force through the Obamacare monstrosity without a vote in the House. Such an unconstitutional maneuver turned out not to be necessary because the Democrats twisted arms and promised the moon to get the votes required for passage. Holdout Bart Stupak, a Michigan Democrat, was promised airport grants for his district if he abandoned his opposition. In other words, Stupak sold his opposition to abortion for a barrel of pork at the expense of the American people.

Libs over at the Huffington Post have taken up the domestic terrorism angle. It will not be members of the Borg hive Republican Tea Party that will engage in domestic terrorism, argues Jeff Schneider, but the radical fringe (in other words, the real Tea Party). “While the attack will not come from the Tea Party proper, more radical members and affiliated groups that have allied themselves with the movement are beginning to mobilize,” he writes today. “What began as the corporate funded, Dick Armey led, FreedomWorks organized, anti-health care rallying Tea Party movement has grown into something beyond what its founders intended.”

The Tea Party (if we can call it such) has entered into a series of loose alliances (of convenience or common purpose) with fringe groups like The Oath Keepers, the Committees of Safety, and the Three Percenter Movement (to name a few). While the rhetoric from Tea Party groups is vitriolic, its protests (to date) have been predominantly non-violent — but while many Tea Party protesters may be peaceful, their rhetoric, and the rhetoric of fellow traveler politicians like Rep. Bachmann and former Gov. Sarah Palin, is echoing through the Tea Party to its fringe elements — and the threat of domestic terror from these groups, or individuals who belong to them, has risen exponentially.

Closely following talking points issued by the Southern Poverty Law Center, Schneider connects the Oath Keepers to white supremacists, the Keystone State Skinheads forum and Stormfront. Schneider insists the “fringe” Tea Party movement is dangerous because it is linked to Gun Owners of America.
Gun Owners of America has over 300,000 members. It is the “only no-compromise gun lobby in Washington,” according to Ron Paul.

The Oath Keepers advocate that its members — who are current and former U.S. military and law enforcement — uphold their oaths of service and pledge to protect the U.S. Constitution. Even though the group is pledged to non-violence, Mother Jones has deemed it the “Tea Party’s military wing.”

The demonization of constitutionalists and patriots (minus absolutely any evidence they are involved in threats and obscene phone calls to the Congress critters who violated the Constitution this week) has moved from a concerted government and corporate media propaganda effort to a possibly more concrete and dangerous level.

“Law enforcement authorities are investigating the discovery of a cut propane gas line at the Virginia home of Rep. Thomas Perriello’s (D-Va.) brother, whose address was targeted by tea party activists angry at the congressman’s vote for the health care bill,” Politico reported yesterday. “While officials are not willing to characterize the exact nature of the incident because of the ongoing investigation, it did not involve an immediate threat to occupants of the residence. However officials are taking the incident very seriously and conducting a vigorous investigation,” Lee Catlin, community relations director for the Albemarle County Fire Marshal in Virginia said in a statement.

The FBI — America’s premier political police force with a long track record of cracking down on groups and individuals opposed to the government — is involved in the investigation.

“As of Wednesday afternoon, the FBI was investigating whether a severed gas line at the home of Congressman Perriello’s brother was related to a comment posted on a local ‘tea party’ website for activists to ‘drop by’ and ‘express their thanks’ for his healthcare vote and to ‘remember exactly what it is their constituents are saying and how they are telling them to vote,’” the Christian Science Monitor reports.

“Should something violent happen, Republicans know it could further discredit the Tea Party movement, and the conservative outrage that is fueling it, in the eyes of the wider American public. That explains, in part, the preponderance of condemnations now being issued by GOP congressmen, including Boehner, and by grass-roots activists,” reports Fox 31 in Denver, Colorado.

“These threats are likely coming from rogue, outside sources,” Lesley Hollywood, the director of the Northern Colorado Tea Party, told Fox. The Northern Colorado Tea Party is affiliated with Glenn Beck’s 912 Project.

The Republican Tea Party and Beck’s 912 Project have nothing to fear. If and when the Oath Keepers, Gun Owners of America, Alex Jones, and patriots not affiliated with establishment “conservative” groups are accused of domestic terrorism and the state responds in typically blunt and brutal fashion, they will be safe.

Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, and Glenn Beck will not be arrested and detained indefinitely as their friend in the Senate, the neocon Lindsey Graham, has recently proposed.

Obamacare Exempts Congress And Staff

This is so outrageous I’m fairly speechless.

Politico reports:

The Congressional Research Service believes a court could rule that the legislation “would exclude professional committee staff, joint committee staff, some shared staff, as well as potentially those staff employed by leadership offices.”

However, when the combined Senate bill came to the floor, the definition of staff had been narrowed. Both senators filed a second amendment in December restating their original intent, but they say Democrats blocked it.

“The American people will be appalled to learn the health care bill exempts leadership and committee staff. This special deal for unelected staff underscores everything the public detests about the arrogance of power in Washington,” Coburn said. “I tried to fix this inequity along with senators Grassley, Burr and Vitter, but Majority Leader [Harry] Reid obstructed our effort.”

The fascist democrats obstructed an amendment that forced themselves and their crony staff from being put into the same lot with the rest of us.

Of course, why wouldn’t they?

They are a bunch of fascist looting criminal thieves intent on destroying this country at all costs. They have no morals. They have no respect for freedom or liberty. They have no respect for the constitution.

As with all tyrannical governments – laws are for the little people.

Of course, this is just one outrage among thousands. The history of government giving itself more rights than its citizens is nearly endless, even in our supposedly “free” country.

DNC Instructs Obamaites To Call Conservative Talk Radio

Instructions have come down from the Obama Borg hive in regard to talk radio.

“The fate of health reform has been a focus of debate in living rooms and offices, on TV and online — and on talk radio,” states Obama’s activism website. “And since millions of folks turn to talk radio as a trusted source of news and opinions, we need to make sure OFA supporters are calling in with a pro-reform message.”
Organizing for America is a netroots project of the Democratic National Committee and establishment Democrats.

Most of the talk shows recommended are hosted by the usual neocons and faux conservatives, including Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Neil Boortz, Dennis Miller, and the Watergate era criminal G. Gordon Liddy.

“Be polite, respectful, and clear. Remember, you represent Organizing for America,” Obama’s site instructs.

Organizing for America is a netroots project of the Democratic National Committee and establishment Democrats who are itching to force “health care reform” on you at gunpoint.

Obama’s site encourages MoveOn (a George Soros project) and other globalist organizations to “get involved locally.”

“Some hosts may challenge your views,” the marching orders continue. “Stay calm and firm. Sharing a personal story about how health reform affects you and your family is a great way to show the importance and urgency of health reform.”

No doubt the suggested neocon talk show hosts will respond in predictable left versus right fashion and call Obama’s proposed “mandate” socialism.

In fact, the only relevant argument against health care “reform” at gunpoint is that the debt creation plan is an egregious violation of the Constitution (under the Commerce clause) and the Tenth Amendment, specifically: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” Once upon a time, this was accepted as a truism.

Thankfully, as of October 2009, five states have introduced legislation that would declare certain provisions of any proposed national health care bill to be null and void within the state under State Sovereignty Resolutions and Nullification Acts. On February 1, 2010, the Virginia Senate took a stand against a key provision of a proposed federal health care overhaul, passing legislation declaring that Virginia residents cannot be forced to buy health insurance.

More states need to follow suit before the Democrats finagle this monstrosity into law.

Debt Commission A Cover For Massive Tax Hikes On The Middle Class

The new so called Bipartisan National Commission On Fiscal Responsibility and Reform is a scam, sham and license to steal taxpayers dollars. This Debt Commission will be used as a cover to raise taxes on middle class Americans during a recession. The President will hold up and present the Debt Commission proposals to the American people. Obama will tout Debt Commission findings across the country saying that the only way we can balance our country budget is by raising taxes on all Americans. Therefore, this means that the average middle class taxpayer will be hit with two tax hikes in 2011. The first tax hike will come when the Bush Tax Cuts expire at the end of the year. The second tax hike will probably be a national sales tax similar to a Goods And Services Tax they have in Canada. The President does not need a debt commission to regin in spending all he, has to do is not submit a $3.8 trillion dollar budget to Congress. The President could use the unspent $500 million from failed Stimulus Plan and TARP money not spent as a down payment on the federal deficit. The President could have cut each department in the federal budget by 15% with a stroke of his Presidential pen. President Obama is a coward and he needs cover to get in the taxpayers pockets. I am surprised that former Wyoming Republican Sen. Alan Simpson would fall for this typical Washington scam on the American people. The President has the majority in both Houses of Congress he can pass any fiscally responsible budget he wants at anytime.

Conservatives "Unite Or Die"

The Republican Party and Conservatives must unite under one umbrella with a common agenda that will defeat the Obama Machine. The RHINO Republicans and Conservatives disagree on some important social issues but, we agree on one thing that Obama is transforming our nation into a Socialist Democracy. Therefore, as a united front with a common agenda that has lower taxes, less regulation and gun rights should be the center piece of our agenda. There is no way in hell we can win back the Congress with just Conservative Republicans we will have to support some RHINO'S from Blue States like New York and New Jersey. The biggest problem with NY23 that Dede Scozzafava took 5% of the vote away from Hoffman but she, also endorsed the liberal Democrat Bill Owens who had the support of the powerful SEIU union in New York State. We as Conservatives and RHINO Republicans can't afford to make another mistake like in NY23. Scozzafava should not have been the candidate in NY23 the RNC should have vetted Scozzafava before endorsing her as the Republican candidate. The great thing about Republican Revolution in 1994 with the "Contract For America" is that Newt Gingrich established 10 principals that all Conservatives and RHINO Republicans could agree on without starting "Civil War" within the Republican party. The Conservatives and RHINO'S must sit down and discuss theses issues behind close doors because, our enemy President Obama capitalized on our division within the party last night by adding on more liberal Democrat to the Congress. Therefore, if the Conservatives and RHINO Republicans keep fighting this Civil War this maybe, the open door that is needed for the Democrats to retain the Congress in 2010 and White House 2012. Finally, if we unite under one banner we will crush the Democratic Party and retake the Congress in 2010.

JANEANE GAROFALO AND RACE

The Janeane Garofalo response to Tax Day Tea Party Protesters is what you will get from liberals when anyone criticise the "Messiah" President Obama that you are a raving "Conservative Racist". The level of discourse is childlike but, it is the only argument liberals can use to protect President Obama from his critics. The Obama Administration used this tactic extremley well during his campaign against Hillary Clinton and Sen. John McCain and it worked because there campaigns did not want to be called racist by the liberaal media. The "Racist" statement was used to smear all the average hard working Americans who protested in the Tax Day Tea Party's. This means that if anyone white or black protest against President Obama that you are ignorant, stupid and racist. Therefore, Janeane Garofalo stands in a long line of "Dumb Ass Celebrities" like Sean Penn and Danny Glover who we expect to make these Dumb Ass Statements. The problem I have is when the media accepts these statements as fact. This clown Janeane Garofalo is making this statement while, a so-called professional journalist Keith Olbermann is nodding his head and smiling at this outrageous statement. The media has no more standards and they have shown there true colors to the American people. The left-wing media has chosen to be part of the Obama Administration and they don't care what the average American thinks about this outrageous activity by the media. The left-wing media refuse to give the whole story because, Tea Party protesters were more angry at Republicans all across the nation for increasing spending during the Bush Administration. This did not fit the closed minded narrative of the left-wing media because it had to be because President Obama is a African-American and the Tax Day Tea Party protesters will not accept a African-American as President. Finally, this type of analysis you will get from Hollywood Celebrities, left-wing media and academia that Conservatives are racist because they have a fundamental disagreement in policy with President Obama. We have almost four years to put up with being called a racist and ingnorant. I am telling all Conservatives don't back down from these smears the fight has just begun and we will win in the end.

OBAMA AND DHS "RIGHT-WING REPORT"

The radio talk show host Roger Hedgecock and the Liberty Papers posted a unclassified document from the Department Of Homeland Security Office Of Intelligence and Analysis report titled: RIGHT WING EXTREMISM: CURRENT ECONOMIC AND POLITICAL CLIMATE FUELING THE RESURGENCE IN RADICALIZATION AND RECRUITMENT. The report I read online was one of the scariest reports I have ever seen by a government agency. This piece of hateful propaganda is part of the Obama Administration strategy to try and destroy the Conservative movement. The DHS press office got back to Michelle Malkin and said that this document was real and legal. The DHS Department Press Secretary was defensive about the document saying that DHS has done reports on left-wing organizations in the past. The DHS and FBI has done assessments on organizations like ELF and ALF who have done domestic terrorism and physical harassment of Americans like arson, vandalism, farms, labs and university teachers. This document released by DHS was a sweeping indictment of all Conservative grassroots organizations. The two spokespeople for DHS said the economic downturn was the reason of the rise of Right Wing extremism in America. The report says the rise in right wing extremism is because of home forecloses, job losses and the election of President Obama. This report was probably leaked to the New York Times Columnist Paul Krugman and Liberal Blogs who have attacked the grassroots Tea Party Revolution. The Obama minions are comparing the Tea Party protests to the Weather Underground who was a terrorist organization who bombed police stations and the Pentagon. The Obama Administration has a plan to demonize anyone who participates in the Tax Tea Party's protests on Wednesday. This is a the beginning of a Fascist movement in the America and most Americans have know idea what is the hell going on inside the hateful Obama Administration. Therefore, when you read this hateful document you better watch out because the Obama Administration will be taking names and numbers at the Tax Day Tea Party's. The will be a large number of people under investigation if you read this document including radio talk show host like Sean Hannity, Glen Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O' Reilly and Lou Dobbs. Finally, if you want to read the documents go to Roger Hedgecock website and read the fascist documents.

BLAME RUSH LIMBAUGH

The Left-Wing Liberals are looking for public enemy No.1 since President Bush has left Washington and now it is Rush Limbaugh. The liberals are repeating the talking of the Obama administration points that Limbaugh said the he, hopes that President Obama fails. Rush Limbaugh said if President Obama wants to create a Socialist State than he, hopes President Obama fails as President. President Obama is trying to destroy the President Reagan Free Market legacy with Obama socialism and there is no way Rush Limbaugh and Conservatives would like to see President Obama turn America into Sweden. The liberals prayed everyday that that President Bush would fail in Iraq. Majority Leader Harry Reid said the President Bush lost the war in Iraq and Speaker Pelosi called President Bush a failed leader. The Liberals had a "Jihad" against President Bush for the last eight years and now they are complaining that Rush Limbaugh has a problem with policies that have failed all around the world. The Liberal Socialist media actually thought that Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity would stand up and applaud for the New Deal Part Two because the "Messiah" passed these Socialist Bills. The Obama Administration is using this crisis to bring in a new socialist world order. Rush Limbaugh is the soundboard for 20 million Americans every week and I think the Obama Administration is making a bad decision by attacking the talk show giant. Rush Limbaugh helped bring the Republican Party out the wilderness in 1992 and they won the House and Senate in 1994. The Obama Administration and Left-Wing Liberals need a bogeyman so, the American people will not concentrate on the failures of the Obama Administration. The Liberal media think that conservatives are crazy for not accepting President Obama "Re-Making Of America". this is the defining moment for conservatives to come together and fight against a new Brand Of Socialism in America.

REPUBLICANS "STAND STRONG" AGAINST OBAMA MACHINE

The Republican Party must "Stand Strong" against the Obama Media machine if they expect to win back the White House in 2012. They are going against the grain with a media savvy administration that has developed a Cult Of Personality. If President Obama governs in a way that is consistent with his liberal socialist promises the Republicans will have to mount a vigorous opposition. The country's security and prosperity will depend on spirited opposition. The liberal media will support President Obama in any decision that he, will make as President even if it is a wrong decision because, they have there liberal socialist policies invested in him as President. The Conservative Media cannot jump on the Obama bandwagon even if he, is popular today early in his Administration. The Conservatives in the media cannot let his cult of personality blind them from the policy dangers he represents to our Conservative movement. The Liberal Socialist Media blamed President Bush for everything under the sun and the never showed him a inch of mercy. Therefore, after eight years of bashing President Bush they are calling for bipartianship with the Republicans. These Liberals are are lecturing us on bipartianship after the Liberal Blogs and Media crushed President Bush every hour of the day. The Republican Party should have strong coordinated opposition to the Obama Administration and they should express there Conservative views clearly to the American people. The Republicans should have designated point man that should confront President Obama socialist policies and support those polices that we agree with as Conservatives. We must resist the calls for bipartianship affect our core principals as Republicans and Conservatives. Finlay, Republicans and conservatives must survive the first six months of the Obama administrations tidal wave. The Republicans must come out with a clear agenda that the American people can support with serious opposition.

"PUNK ASS REPUBLICANS"

The Republicans in Congress are willing to let flawed candidates like Timothy Geinther, Carol Browner and Eric Holder pass there conformation hearings without a scratch on there body. The Republicans have turned into a bunch of "Punks" ever since, the election of President-Elect Obama. The Republican Party in general is running scared and they feel if they don't let President-Elect Obama have his original cabinet choices they will pay with the voters in 2010. The Republican Party has to make a stand on one of these flawed candidates especially, Treasury Secretary-Elect Timothy Geinther because, this clown refused to pay his taxes several times in the past eight years. This is a country of laws and if the incoming Treasury Secretary cannot pay his taxes this gives me as a American citizen a insight into his flawed "Cheating ASS" character. Timothy Geinther will also, be in charge of the IRS and this is a bad example that President-Elect Obama is setting because, he came in on a pledge of making "Change" and all I see is the same ole Washington Insider crap. The Republicans are actually saying that this clown Geinther is to important to be rejected as Treasury Secretary because he, understands how to use the TARP Funds. Therefore, are you telling American people that this is the only qualified person in America who can do the job as Treasury Secretary because, he is he only clown who knows how to spend the taxpayers next 350 billion dollars. The Republicans in Congress are willing to let a communist like Carol Browner take office without a fight or even a scratch on her, socialist body. Mrs. Browner will make environmental policy that will affect Americans lives for the next four years and that could affect the free enterprise system in America with new regulations that and could cost small businesses billions of dollars. The Republicans in the Senate today joked with Eric Holder who signed off on the pardon of Mark Rich who was a fugitive of American justice and Holder simply called it a mistake and that he, had learned his lesson. Holder was also, responsible for helping FLAN terrorist get pardons instead of standing up against President Clinton he, went along for the ride even though the FBI requested that these terrorist should not get a pardons. Finally, Conservatives in America will have to make a stand the next four years because, the Republican Party seems unwilling to stand up and fight against the "Prophet Obama". The Conservative movement must build a strong base again and stand on the principals that President Reagan built while he, was President Of The United States for eight years. We must fight against the "Liberal Socialist Smear Machine" and create a Conservative message that will inspire the American people in the next four years.
