Cornell West Calls Obama a Black Mascot Of Wall Street Bankers

Cored Jefferson - As the 2012 presidential elections draws closer, the arguments for and against President Obama grow more heated. Last night, an outright shouting match between two of America’s most notable Black leaders—Cornel West and Al Sharpton—gave an indication as to just how important this election will be.

West, a Princeton professor and author, and Sharpton, a controversial civil rights icon, sat on a panel of experts on the Ed Schultz-led special program A Stronger America: The Black Agenda. The talk soon turned to what African-Americans can and should expect from Obama. Sharpton, whose recent National Action Network conference saw an Obama cameo, believes people are being too hard on the president. West vehemently disagreed.

In response to the sharp criticism Obama’s gotten from Blacks who say he’s not done enough for the minority community, Sharpton said, “Too many of us are putting it all on the president. If I see a [Paul] Ryan in Congress, where is the counterpoint to Ryan? That’s not President Obama’s job.… He shouldn’t lead the civil rights marches against himself. Everybody’s sitting around acting like we can’t do anything, Obama’s going to do it. That’s hogwash.”

Interrupting Sharpton, West leapt into the debate: “They [the Obama administration] have a Black constituency and there’s a context in the nation that a criticism of President Obama is an attempt to support the right-wing vicious attacks of Fox News and others,” he said.

West went on to say that the White House ignored the plight of the Black poor, and, in perhaps his most heated turn of phrase, called Obama “another Black mascot of these Wall Street oligarchs.”

Sharpton shot back that people like West like to sit in their “ivory towers” while people like Sharpton are “in the trenches at the labor rallies.” It eventually devolved into an all-out shouting match, with Sharpton being drowned out by West, who shouted, “Where’s the jobs bill?”

Ultimately, not much was accomplished on either side, but it made for exciting television, and it was just a taste of how hot the debates are going to be before voters head to the polls in 2012.

ALSHARPTON "RACE POLICE"

The "RACE POLICE" is out in full force in New York City over the NEW YORK POST CARTOON that said in a Caption that "Who Will Write The Stimulus Bill". The Sharpton Express is on the move and fired up over this "Clown Ass Issue". The Sharpton Express is calling for the firing of Cartoonist Sean Delonis who openly made fun of the passing of the Stimulus Bill. The protest continue in New York City and they also, want the Editor And Chief of the New York Post to be fired. The Sharpton Express also, called for a special session of the New York City Common Council to halt all advertising in the New York Post. The Sharpton Express has also, asked the FCC to review the wavier given to Rupert Murdoch and News Corp. to own a Television and Newspaper in the same city. The Chairman Of The NAACP Julian Bond has also, gotten involved and asked for the firing of both the Editor And Chief and the Cartoonist from the New York Post. The true issue is that Sharpton Express and Race Hustlers Inc. needed a issue to let American people know that they are not out of business because, President Obama was elected President. Finally, they could careless about a cartoon in a newspaper the only thing they care about is keeping the doors open at Race Hustlers Inc. OBAMA,HOLDER,CLYBURN AND SHARPTON

The American people elected President Obama as the First African-American President Of The United States and the first speech that the First African-American Attorney General gives calls America "A Nation Of Cowards". This is the type of rhetoric that the American people will hear from this so, called leadership in Washington for the next four years. Instead, of celebrating the election of President Obama Attorney General Holder turns a historical year and month into a grievance speech against "WHITE AMERICA'. The American people were not a "Nation Of Cowards" when over 60 million people pulled the lever for President Obama. I am not blind to the fact that there are racial problems in America but, this is not the right time to give some "CRAZY ASS SPEECH ON RACE". The African-American community has some serious problem with gang violence, teenage pregnancy, high school dropouts and drugs that need to be solved right away. Furthermore, the problems will have to be solved by the African-American community and not a Government programs in Washington D.C.. The African-American community needs to draw a line the sand and tell our young people that this type of sadistic behavior is unacceptable in our community. The "Old Tried And True" easiest way out of solving any of these problems has always been blame the "WHITE MAN", because, that gets the loudest cheers from the African-American Community. Rep. James Clyburn Of South Carolina called the Republican Governors "Racist" because they said that the would not accept any money from the Stimulus Bill. The Governors had a philosophical difference with the President Obama and the Stimulus Bill because they thought that it was a waste of our children's money. Rep. Clyburn does not have a answer to the questions by the Republican Governors so, he uses the "Race Card" to put the Governors on the defense. The President has been in office for only a month and Rev. Al Sharpton has a protest going on outside the New York Post for a cartoon of a monkey being shot. The cartoon is suppose to be President Obama being shot but the caption said that "Who Will Write The Stimulus Bill". The person who wrote the Stimulus Bill is "Queen Nancy Pelosi" and Rev. Al Sharpton knows that she, wrote the Stimulus Bill but this is a good time to remind White Americans that the Civil Right Hustlers and Pimps are not out of business because President Obama was elected President. Finally, I am tired of talking about these Race Hustlers but we have four years and they will use there "Race Strategy" to shut up anyone who disagrees with the "Messiah" President Obama. They used the strategy against the Clinton Machine and won the Presidential election. "THIS IS THE CHANGE WE ALL CAN BELIEVE IN".

CAROLINE KENNEDY STATE TOUR "STOP'

The Caroline Kennedy State Tour makes me sick. The tour was basically, a coronation by the Democratic Party Elite so, that she will receive the appointment by Gov. David Patterson as soon as Sen. Clinton is confirmed as Secretary Of State. The only way she will not receive the appointment is if Gov. Patterson gives it to Attorney General Andrew Cuomo. Gov. Patterson may give the vacant seat left by Sen. Clinton to Attorney General Cuomo because, Cuomo may run for Governor in 2010. This would eliminate Gov. Patterson biggest competition to retain the seat vacated by The former embattled Gov. Elliot Spritzer. Caroline Kennedy visited Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo and listened to all the upstate Mayors concerns about the economy. This is the first time she ever visited the City of Buffalo. Therefore, how in the hell can you listen to a Mayor for a hour and learn about the issues and difficulties of Western New York if you have never campaigners in this area. This is the favorite part of her listening tour she, met with the "King Maker" the Rev. Al Sharpton who gave his blessing at Sylvia's Restaurant in Harlem. This made me even more sick watching this clown act while we, are going through a mini-depression. This women is not qualified for the position of Senator of the State Of New York and everyone reading this article knows that I am telling the truth. The only reason why she is receiving this consideration is because, Caroline Kennedy won the biggest lottery in the world the lucky gene lottery. Caroline just happened the to be Daughter of President Kennedy so, she deserves the job because, some "Dumb Ass Americans" in the Elite West Side Of Manhattan believes that she is part of American Royalty. The media would not have accepted this from a Average American like Gov. Palin who started from the bottom like all Americans and they called her unqualified to be Vice President even though she was a Governor of Alaska. The Liberal Left Wing Media has not attacked Caroline Kennedy qualifications because, she is part of the socialist elite in America. Finally, if she is appointed Senator this is just another nail in the coffin of a dying country. I totally believe that there will be a new American Revolution and the American people will not show any sympathy for the Liberal elite in America who hate everything that made American great.
