BLAGOJEVICH LAWYERS WANT SUBPOENAES

President-Elect Obama friend the embattled Gov. Rod Blojevich lawyer is asking for two key aides from the future Obama Administration and Rep. Jessie Jackson Jr. Aides to be subpoenaed according to the local Chicago media. Blajojevich lawyers has the Illinois State Panel that members of the incoming Obama Administration testify before the House Impeachment Committee including Chief Of Staff Rahm Emanuel and Senior Adviser Valarie Jarret, according to WBBM and The Chicago Sun-Times. The Chief Lawyer for Gov. Blagojevich said that Obama aides will prove that he Governor did nothing illegal to fill the open Obama vacant U.S. Senate Seat. The news conference comes days after the Obama Administration released a internal review that there was no inappropriate contact had taken place in the probe. The report said that Rahm Emanuel and his top adviser John Harris are the only two who who had contact about the open U.S. Senate Seat. The U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald feels that any inquiry into the Gov. Blagojevich wrongdoing by the Illinois House Committee could compromise his federal investigation into his criminal activity. Sate Rep. Barbra Flynn Currie the Committee Chairman said a decision whether they will have a impeachment vote by the Full State House of Illinois could come as early as Jan. 5.
