PROSECUTION OF BUSH OFFICIALS

Speaker Nancy Pelsoi is open to the idea of prosecuting some Bush Administration officials while, letting some officials who are accused of misdeeds leave office without prosecutions she told Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday. I think that we should look at each violation of the law and do we even have the right to ignore it Speaker Pelosi said, in the interview. Furthermore, she said maybe time is better spent looking toward the future than the past. Rep. John Conyers Chairman Of The House Judiciary Committee announced Friday that he wants to set up a Commission on whether the Bush Administration Officials broke the law by taking the nation to war against Iraq and instituting anti-terror initiatives. The Michigan Democrat called the The "Witch Hunt Probe" into whether any laws were broken in connection with these activities. President Obama has not closed off the possibility of prosecutions, but hinted he does not favor them. President Obama said that he, does not feel that anyone is above the law, he told ABC news a week ago on the other hand I believe that we need to look forward as opposed to looking backward. Speaker Pelosi said, that I don't think that Mr. Obama and Mr. Conyers are far apart she, said, there are different subjects and you treat them differently. Speaker Pelsoi hinted that the law might compel the Democrats to press forward with some prosecutions even if they are politically unpopular adding; that's not up to us to say that doesn't matter anymore. we cannot let the politicizing of the Justice Department to go unreviewed she aded. I want the truth to come forth.

  1. I don't think prosecutions would do any good. Witch hunts don't have a favorable reputation either.
