Rev. Jackson: "Blacks Can't Vote Against Health Care"

The BabyMaker "Rev. Jessie Jackson" on Wednesday was Critical of Rep Arthur Davis Of (D-Alabama) for voting against the Democrats signature health care bill better known as "Obamacare". We even have blacks voting against the health care bill, Jackson said at a reception Wednesday night. You can't vote against the health care bill and call yourself a black man." This remark made by Rev. Jackson surprised many attendees at the reception. held by the Congressional Black Caucus foundation as part of a series of events revolving around the 25th Anniversary of Jackson run for President. Several CBC members were in attendance, including Chairwoman Barbara Lee who introduced Rev. Jackson. Davis is running for Governor of Alabama, is the only African-American member from of Congress from Alabama. Davis, who is running for Governor. He is the only member of the CBC to have voted against the health care bill early this month. Rep. Davis Democratic Party primary opponent, Agricultural Commissioner Ron Sparks, highlighted Davis status as the lone African-American who voted against Obamacare. "He was the only Black Caucus Member to vote against it. I don't get it,"Sparks said last week according to the Associated Press. Sparks is white. Davis voted against the health care bill because "The house leadership approach is not the best we can do. "He said he preferred a version passed by the Senate Fiance Committee because it reduces subsidization of the health care industry, taxes high value heath plans instead of wealthy people, and it is more effective in getting employers to help with heath coverage. Finally, Rev. Jackson is always playing the "Race Card" even against African-Americans who have a policy difference against President Obama. Rev. Jackson should "Retire"but, I forgot he, is addicted to the camera. Written by Mike Soraghan
