Blue And Red State Unemployment Rates

The unemployment rate in so-called Blue States are still extremely high in America. These are states that President Obama won by a large margin in last year Presidential election. The unemployment rates in blue states are 20% higher than red states that Sen. McCain won in last year Presidential election. The unemployment rate nationally is 8.9% but if the number don't start improving soon the Democratic Party may face the prospect of 2010 mid-term election losses in both Governor and congressional races. The Republican and Democratic Party are vying at 40% to 39% for leadership in the Rasmussen conducted generic poll. Rasmussen says that Democratic support has dropped for a high of 50% and Republican support has risen from a low of 34%. Democrats began the year with a seven point lead over Republicans for the first several weeks of 2009 Rasmussen Said, that began to slip and the Republicans actually took a two point lead in the middle of March. Since then, the range has been dead even to a four point lead for Democrats until the Republicans regained the lead. The key to the mid-term elections is the President approval rating matters more than economy and Congress itself in determining the outcome of mid-term election results. The President will need to have a 65% approval rating to avoid losing ground in Congress in the 2010 mid-term elections. President Obama average approval rating is 60% the same a President Jimmy Carter at the same time in history. There is a big risk that states that voted for President Obama might be disappointed by his economic results so far. The state of Michigan has been hit hard by the failures of Chrysler and General Motors failure despite spending billions of taxpayers dollars. The state of California is on the the verge of economic collapse and has a 11% unemployment rate in March and April and Governor has threatened to fire 5,000 state workers to reduce expenses is face of a 21 billion dollar shortfall. This is why today in a forum Treasury Secretary Geithner was reducing expectations when it comes to a economic recovery. Geinther said that unemployment rate will not drop and the economic recovery will not be felt by the Average American for a long period of time.

Gov. Palin Vetos Stimulus Money

Governor Palin on Thursday became the first and only Governor to turn down federal stimulus money for energy efficiency, a move that Federal Administrators called disappointing for the state with some of the country highest energy costs. In announcing, the veto of the 28.6 million funds. Palin said she would not accept money to the adoption of building codes by local governments. Alaskans have a long history of independence and opposing many mandates from Washington D.C.. Palin said in announcing the veto. Gov.Palin had earlier accepted 900 million dollars in other federal stimulus funds. The Governor believes that building codes should be made by local and state governments. Democrat state legislators had urged Gov. Palin to accept the stimulus money, because they were close to the federal mandates. Sen. Begich a Democrat said, that nearly a third of the requests sent to his state office from local communities and nonprofits were related to energy reduction. With the highest energy prices in the nation it is disappointing that our Governor, is turning down Federal stimulus funds that could help out families and our communities reduce there energy bills. Begich said. The Democrats and some Republican will possibly override the Governor Palin veto. The state legislator needs three quarters of to override the veto. Finally, Gov. Palin said that there was not a lot of support for for the Federal government to coerce Alaska communities to adopt building codes.

Gitmo Terror Release Program

The Democratic Party and liberal blogs laughed at conservatives when they complained about releasing GITMO prisoners to there country of orgin. The Pentagon reported that 61 detainees returned to the terror battlefield after being released. The so-called liberal National security experts in the media said that this would never happen. The liberal newspaper the New York Times received information that 1 in 7 GITMO detainees released by the Bush Administration returned to the battlefield. The actual number of detainees is 74. The report was held back because the Pentagon does not want to upset President Obama who wants to close down the Guantanamo Bay Prison. The New York Times says, the 74 prisoners released from Guantanamo returned to terrorism which is almost a 15%percent. The report was released by a administration official who was sympathetic to to it's findings who said any delay would creating unnecessary conspiracy theories about the holdup. The Administration official who released the report said if we did not release the report that the media would have said that we are protecting the Obama administration. And if we let it go, then everybody would be saying that we are undermining the Obama administration. Among the 74 prisoners released that are engaged in terrorism again, only 29 prisoners have been identified by name by the Pentagon, including 16 named for time in the report. The Pentagon said the the remaining 45 could not be named because of national security and intelligence gathering concerns.

Biden"150,000 Jobs Created By Stimulus Bill"

The Crazy ASS Vice President Joe Biden claimed last week that the Obama stimulus plan has created 150,000 jobs since, February when President Obama signed the Stimulus Bill into law. In the first 177 days of the two year Recovery Act Program, 150,000 jobs have been created or saved, "Biden said in a press release accompanying a report. The progress report on the Stimulus Plan released by the Vice President last week contained no such figure, nor did it reference any other document that might corroborate his claim. Recovery.Org does not contain information on how many jobs those tax dollars are creating. However, a spokesman for the Vice President said that they took the numbers published May 11 from the President's Council Of Economic Advisers. The report titled "Estimates Of Job Recovery and Reinvestment Act Of 2009" does not contain the 150,000 jobs figure either. In fact, the job creation numbers for the Recovery Act in the first quarter will not be out until August. The first full report is due in August 2009, the report states. Biden also, claims that the Stimulus Plan has created 3,000 transportation and construction projects in 52 states and territories. This is another missing number from his and CEA report. Finally, where did the numbers come from. The numbers came from a formula that would tell the administration whatever it wanted to hear. I believe that Vice President Biden made this number while sitting in his secret bunker. I Forgot! Biden gave that secret away. What A Clown.

California Ballot Measure Fails

The second worst Governor in the nation Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has been so, preoccupied with telling the Republican Party that it needs to re-brand itself and move left that he forgot to mind his own business in California. Gov. Schwarzenegger tax and spend ballot measure is expected to go down in flames at the polls. The Tea Party Activist of all political stripes have slammed the the deceptive initiative. The state of California's Republican Party is financially bankrupt and in full meltdown after pouring 650,000 into Gov. Schwarzenegger coffers to promote the phony spending cap before the state party waffled, then turnaround and voted to oppose it and the other tax hikes. After making his last ditch pitch for his 16 billion in tax increases at black churches in Los angles. The Governor spent time fear mongering voters to approve his CRAZY ASS measure. Governor Schwarzenegger implored voters on Sunday not to make California the poster child of dysfunction by defeating a host of measures on Tuesday ballot to seek restructure the state bleak financial picture. The Governor has been arguing for months that Tuesday's election features a package full of ballot measures that are absolutely essential for California financial future, Schwarzenegger is leaving for Washington on a jet plane where he will spend election day. The Governor will be in Washington for a major announcement that California is expected to get a long sought after wavier from the EPA, which will allow the state to set higher standards for cars and trucks exhaust emissions. Gov. Schwarzenegger plans to stay in Washington to Wednesday to lobby the California delegation for more budget help for the state. Finally, the only reason why Gov. Schwarzenegger is making trip is because all the polls sees his measure going down in flames. Schwarzenegger does not want to be around for this election night disaster. HEY! I forgot the worst Governor in the country is my home state Governor David Patterson of New York.

Dowd Plagiarizes Left-Blogger

The is no doubt the Maureen Dowd of the New York Times plagiarizes a left-wing blogger. The blogger John Marshall, writing at TPM on Thursday. More and More the timeline is raising the question why, if torture was to prevent terrorist attacks, it seemed to happen mainly during the period when we were looking for what was essentially political information to justify the invasion of Iraq. This is what Maureen Dowd said today: More and More the timeline is raising the question why, if torture was to prevent terrorist attacks, it seemed to happen mainly during the period when we were looking for what was essentially political information to justify the invasion of Iraq. This is twice in a week that a New york Times Columnist has been caught plagiarizing from left-wing blogs. The left-wing columnist spend more time reading the Huffington Post and Daily Kos than doing critical research for the columns. This is a new type of journalism which is practiced at the Cable News Networks especially MSNBC and CNN which picks up liberal stories from Media Matters and other left-wing blogs and presents them as fact to American public. There will be a "Sorry Ass" statement issued by Maureen Dowd saying that she made a terrible mistake while doing research for her column and it will never again. Maureen Dowd will apologize to all the readers of the New York Times and the left-wing blogger at TMP. Finally, the funny part of her apology is that she said that she was talking to friend and she might have made a mistake and copy and pasted without attribution and she thought it was a original idea. HEY! Maureen by Blog post was a original idea. I forgot the credit goes to ALLAHPUNDIT AT HOTAIR.

Axelrod Calls Prejean A Dog

I am tired of these Punk ASS" left-wing Democrats taking a cheap shot at Miss California Carrie Prejean. This is suppose to be the party of civility but, the Democratic Party and it's leadership has become the party of hate. David Axelrod Senior Advisor to the President Obama in a punchline joke called Carrie Prejean a "Dog". This so-called joked was used to belittle Miss Carrie Prejean and her stance on Gay marriage. The audience who supports David Axelrod and the President Obama enjoyed the joke. the left-wing in America has been using Miss Prejean as part of there hate speech campaign against Conservatives for the last two weeks. The most disturbing part of this campaign is that someone, in President Obama Administration would join in the hate fest. I really, don't understand why David Axelrod hates Miss Prejean so much because she, hold the same position Gay marriage as President Obama. Finally, Check out this sick joke in the video below.
