PIRATES DETAIN 21 U.S. SAILORS

Somali Pirates have captured or hijacked a Cargo Ship with 21 Americans abroad the ship State Department officials said early Wednesday mourning. The 17,000-ton Maersk Alabama was taken Wednesday by pirates according to a Kenyan -based diplomat who spoke on condition of anonymity because he, was not authorized to speak to the media. A spokeswoman for the U.S. fleet confirmed that the Danish-Owned Ship, U.S. Operated container ship carrying 21 Americans Sailors came under attack 240 miles Southeast of Somalia. The spokeswoman said that the ship radioed for help but the closet Naval ship was 300 nautical miles away at the time. Company representatives were not able to confirmed the hijacking. This vessel was the sixth vessel hijacked this weeks and the first with a All-American crew. Last year, the pirates hijacked Dozens of vessels and held hundreds of sailors hostage often for weeks to extract millions from there companies. The pirates typically, use speed boats to launch from the mothership which means they can evade foreign Navies patrolling the busy shipping lanes and strike out far at Sea. The pirates hijacked a Saudi Supertanker loaded with 100 million dollars worth of crude oil. The 25 member Crew of the Sirius Star was released after the 3 million dollars parachuted onto the deck of the ship. The Danish-Owned company may have to pay up to get there sailors released or The United states will send in the Special Forces to kill these Pirate Thugs
