TSA's "Homeland Insecurity"

Early Christmas Afternoon news broke of a alleged attempt by a Nigerian to light some type of explosive device on board a Northwestern Airlines Flight from Detroit. Federal officials and local police officials are interviewing a Nigerian man who allegedly tried to explode a powdery substance aboard a Northwestern flight from Amsterdam to Detroit injuring himself and two other passengers, law enforcement officials said. the man said that he was directed by Al-Qaeda to explode a small device in flight, over U.S. soil, ABC News has learned. Authorities have no corroboration of that information, and the credibility of the suspects statement is being questioned, officials said. The government has no immediate plans after the incident to raise the threat level, a government source said. The "Big Question" that needs to be answered by TSA is how this terrorist managed to smuggle a device on a plane. There is no screening system in place at international airports that will detect explosives. If the preliminary reports are correct that the Nigerian brought on "Firecrackers" on the plane that is not surprising at all. Fireworks normally do not contain any metal and will pass undetected through any of the walk thru metal detectors used throughout the world. Therefore, here we are 8 years after 9-11 attacks and we still employ security detection systems incapable of detecting explosives. Eight years ago Richard Reid, an Al-Qaeda operative, boarded a plane in London, England wearing shoes packed with explosives. His fellow passengers beat the living crap out of him and prevented a terrorist incident. Finally, 8 years later and will still have done nothing to prevent the threat from an explosive. I fully acknowledge this is a threat we rarely see. but that excuse will not fly if a terrorist group decides to run the risk of blowing airplanes out of the air. Let's face it, we never learn. Have a Happy New Year.

Rules Protect "Death Panels In Obamacare"

The provision in the legislation forbids considering amendment changes to the regulations that would be imposed on Americans by the bill's Medical advisory Board, panels set up to make decisions about provisions for care. Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin at one point famously called the "Death Panels" because among the decisions they could make would be to withhold-life saving treatments for patients. The provision comes in section 3403 of Reid's "manger Amendment" to the health care takeover plan that is yet facing another vote in the Senate this week. The bill would mandate abortion funding nationwide. The bill states, It shall not be in order in the Senate and House Of Representatives to consider any bill, resolution, amendment or conference report that would repeal or otherwise change this subsection. The subsection addresses rules and regulations that doctors would be ordered to follow by the "Independent Medicare Advisory Board A/k/a "The Death Panels,"Redstate reported. Sen. Jim Demint (R-South Carolina) jumped into the action, question whether the current vote should require two-thirds super majority because it changes rules. Sen. Demint argued, "As the chair has confirmed, rule 22 paragraph 2. of the standing rules of the Senate, that necessary affirmative vote shall be two-thirds of the Senators present for the voting. Let me go to the bill before us, because buried deep within over 2,000 pages of this bill, we find a rather substantial change in the rules of the Senate, this is clearly a rule change. This is not legislation, It's not law. This is a rule change. It's a pretty big deal. We will be passing a new law at the same time creating a new Senate rule rule that makes it out of order to amend or repeal the law. I am not sure that is constitutional, he continued According to the transcript, the rule change, however, was determined by the majority of Democrats in a "procedural" change instead. "We have included rules changes in legislation yet we are ignoring a rule that requires a two-thirds cloture vote to pass it. i believe it is unconstitutional. It subverts the principals that we have operated under the principals that we have operated under and it is very obvious to everyone that it does change the rule, Sen. Demint continued. It's clear that our rules mean nothing if we can redefine words that we use in them. Finally, the Average American and Conservatives are being steamrolled by this Democratic Congress. The worst part about this story is the average voter will pay no attention to any story about Senate rules and procedures and the media won't cover it, well they are the liberal socialist media.

56%Of Americans Think Federal Government Is Operating Out of Line With The Constitution

a majority of Americans believe a increases government role in health care would lead to more government corruption, while a plurality of Americans think that the scientific data supporting man made global warming is mostly falsified. That is in a new poll by Survey USA reveals. These poll numbers come at a time when President Obama is pushing for international agreements to address apparent global warming and is also advocating a major overhaul of the health care in America. The poll of 1,450 adults by Survey USA was conducted Dec 11-14 and was commissioned by the conservative Watchdog Group Judaical Watch. The poll asked questions on several topics, including government corruption, transparency, illegal immigration and ACORN. Specifically the poll asked, "Do you think data suggesting global warming is a result of human activity is mostly genuine? Or mostly Falsified? A plurality of 49% answered mostly falsified,"while 41% answered mostly genuine and 10% were unsure. An overwhelming 62% said more corruption if health care is passed and just 14% less corruption and 21% said it would make no difference. While other polls show Obama approval ratings slipping under 50%, the asked "As a whole are the decisions made by the Obama Administration good for America? Or bad for America? To that, 58% answered bad for America,"37% said good for America and 6% were not sure. Finally the poll further shows that 64% of voters think the government is to big and that 62% think that bigger government leads to more corruption Also, 72% think political corruption play a major role in the financial crisis last year. The most important number in this poll is that 56% of Americans think the federal government is operating out of line with the Constitution.

Sen. Ben Nelson The Modern Day Judas Sellout For 30 Pieces Of Silver

It was a concern of Nebraska Republican Governor over expanded Medicaid costs in the proposed health care overhaul bill that led to his states compromise to cover the state estimated $45 million share over the decade, U.S. Senator Ben Nelson said Sunday. Gov. Dave Heineman "contacted me and he said that this is another unfunded mandate and it's going to stress the state budget, and I agreed with him,"said the Nebraska Democrat. who was a Nebraska Governor in the 1990's. I said to the leaders and others that this is something that has to be fixed. I did not participate in the way it was fixed. But Gov. Heineman expressed anything but gratitude, saying he had nothing to do with the compromise and calling the health care overhaul bill, bad news for Nebraska and bad news for America. The criticism is only a taste of what Nelson has received since announcing Saturday that he would become the 60th vote needed to advance the landmark legislation. The backlash from those who wanted Nelson to hold the hard line against the measure was immediate. Abortion appointment howled in protest, the Nebraska Right To Life, which has long endorsed Nelson issued a scathing statement that dubbed Nelson a traitor. The state's Catholic Bishops followed Sunday with a statement that they were "extremely disappointed" in him. The Chairman Of The Nebraska Republican Party declared Nelson decision to be the end of his political career in Nebraska, and within hours of Nelson announcement, the state GOP launched a WEB site, http://www.givebentheboot.com/, to collect funds to oust the Democrat in 2012. Gov. Mike Huckabee spoke before a angry crowd of about 2,000 many of whom had signs denouncing the health care bill. Rally goers often shouted Recall!" and Liar!" at the mention of Nelson name. Finally, this could be the final nail in the coffin that could drive America into bankruptcy. This is one of the worst pieces of legalisation that has ever been passed by Congress and each member of Congress who voted for this ridiculous health bill should be held accountable in the 2010 mid-term elections.
